Padel 22 secures Communications remit for British No.1 Tia Norton
Padel 22 has been hired by Norton’s Talent Agency, Activate Management to grow the star’s profile, as she closes in on becoming the first Briton to break into the World Padel Tour top 100. Norton made history aged 17 by becoming the first female professional British player on the World Padel Tour and followed this up a year later by winning the maiden FIP title at Britain’s first ever international padel event.
Monday 6 March 2023, London, UK: Great Britain Number 1 Tia Norton has today signed up with Global Communications Consultancy, Padel 22 to manage her PR as she looks to become the first Briton to break into the World’s Top 100.
Norton, who hails from Leamington Spa, England, is the leading British figure for the UK’s and world’s fastest-growing sport. She made history aged 17 by becoming the first British player on the World Padel Tour and then a year later by winning her maiden International Padel Federation (FIP) tournament title alongside partner Carla Fito at Britain’s first ever international padel event in Roehampton, London. She also claimed victory alongside Aimee Gibson at the season-opening UK National HOP Padel Tour tournament in Yorkshire, England last month.
Having been hired through Norton’s sport talent agency Activate Management, Padel 22 will work to grow the emerging star’s profile alongside the sport’s growth which is accelerating in the UK and in other new padel territories such as the Middle East, U.S. and Australia, at a time when interest and exposure from brands and commercial partners is on an upward trajectory.

After a few years of discovering my potential through playing and competing in padel, I realised it was a sport I wanted to get more people involved in because I could see the potential for the sport to grow. Padel 22 have an abundance of experience in profile-building, and so I’m looking forward to working with Ben and his team to grow my own brand and British padel at home and overseas,”

Tia is currently ranked 118 on the World Padel Tour and on a journey to become a leading light of the sport in Britain and overseas. Hailing from Leamington Spa, Tia is Great Britain’s No.1 Padel Player – the top women’s British figure for the UK’s, and the world’s, fastest-growing sport.
